Google announced a new tool called helpouts that is aimed at enabling users to connects with experts using a live video chat. The aim is to afford users the opportunity to ask questions ranging from home decoration to health related questions, as reported by Mashable.
Close to a thousand companies have been invited by Google to participate in this latest venture that is surely going to help a lot of users worldwide connect to the experts at the click of a mouse. The pricing for services is going to be set by the vendors with Google getting 20% of the profit, but Google is expecting some services to be free to users as it is a normality with most of Google services.
The marketplace is for invitation only for now, but we expect Google to roll it out to the masses once this initial phase becomes a success.
