It’s the time of the week again where we get to tune in to the latest webmaster tools video and this one is no different because it has a lot of takeouts that can be very helpful to a lot of webmasters and SEO professionals. The Question is from Leah who asked whether having large number of indexed pages guarantee rankings in Google or not.
As Matt Cutts puts it, having many indexed pages doesn’t necessarily make you outrank every site in search results. But there is no denying that it helps with improving the authority of your site in your niche because you are going to rank for multiple keywords related to those indexed pages. The main important factor here is that, it is very important for those indexed pages to be of high quality if your site is to be regarded as an authority site.
